No I'm not talking about the newspaper... or a zebra with a rash on his butt... I'm talking about one of my most favorite color schemes, that I especially like to wear during colder weather! Last week I happened to wear this color scheme three times, and I wanted to share the three outfits with you all. I hope you enjoy!
The wine color is great for work since it is so classic! My last couple of blog posts I have been rocking out the wine-colored
trend that I absolutely adore; so classic, gothic, glamorous! Interesting story from this day at work... I sit on the 30th floor of my building and my team had a client meeting on the 35th floor, where we met with three clients from one firm. After the first hour a client and I both had to leave so I was planning on taking him down to the lobby, but he was completely ignoring me in the elevator looking at his phone, so I decided to get off at 30. What do I find out the next day? When I got off the elevator it free fell 10 floors and everyone who was on it were trapped for twenty minutes. So I want to thank that jerk, for making me feel like I didn't matter, because he saved me from a very traumatic moment.
I love the leather pant trend and especially like it when it is worn casually. I tried to rock that look for dessert with my girl Meryum! I know I haven't discussed makeup much since I started doing style posts, but I finally purchased a white eyeliner for my inner lower lids. Totally makes your eyes pop! I also finally got a wine lip color that I LOVE thanks to Shahida. It's Sephora's lipstain #4 and it is gorgeous. See the lower right hand picture for a close up!
Lastly, I love this red peplum top, but think it is probably best saved for the winter time since the red kind of has a festive feel since it is so bright. I just couldn't wait to wear it! Unfortunately I wore it to my friend Gauravi's engagement party, not realizing, it was a black and white party, and G was the only one wearing red. Probably one of the most mortifying moments of my life when I realized my mistake, but Gauravi was super gracious and my girl Zarmina had a backup top for me!
Hope you guys enjoyed, and hopefully in my next blog post I will revisit my roots and get back to the lipstick!

The lipstick looks great!! I saw that red peplum but didn't think it would look that good! I love it on youuu
Leather pants aren't uncomfortably sticky? I'm hesitant to try. But I guess that's less of a problem in Boston than Tampa.
lol zehrama! you can get leather leggings, alot more comfortable, no matter where in the world you are!
