Labor Day in Toronto: Day 3

Last full day in Toronto meant three outfits!! One thing I need to work on is that when I travel I pack enough outfits to last me approximately three times the length of my trip. It's a disease.

On Sunday we woke up early to go to Centre Island, so much fun! We walked down to the dock and took a short boat ride to the island where it was SO HOT. We couldn't even stand on the sand without our sandals on. Then the people next to us made fun of us for posing when we were taking pictures, which I'm still upset about. Haven't they ever heard of facebook!?! After we got back we picked up lunch in Scarborough from Nandos, has anyone been there before? It's a halal Portuguese restaurant started by a man from Johannesburg, so you know it has got to be good. Later on at night the sisters went to a hookah spot back in Scarborough. The hookah was great, but the service was horrible! For all you hookah enthusiasts, the hookah market is still enter-able, and competition is low! I'll take 25% of all profits, you're welcome.

I had purchased this belt from H&M which was inspired by the Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 Collection and wanted to build a beach friendly outfit around it. I opted for a sheer black Forever 21 top that you could see the colors of my retro bathing suit top from River Island (absolutely obsessed with it!) through, paired with a light cotton H&M skirt to give the illusion of a dress.

The red lipstick was a bit dramatic and kept getting all over my teeth (Condoleezza Rice Style) but I thought it suited the outfit well! It is Dubonnet by MAC.
Although I initially was planning on showing the black jumpsuit I wore, I instead wanted to just comment on the new mascara I'm wearing since I had posted about lash extensions in May. I had recently purchased "Lights, Camera, Lashes!" by tarte on a whim in the beginning of the summer, and it is by far the best beauty purchase I have made in a very long time! The mascara seriously separates, thickens AND curls my lashes. It does everything and is made without chemicals, so its actually good for your lashes, which is exactly what I needed since I pulled out many of mine when I was removing my false ones! (Ouch.)

Lastly and by a landslide my favorite outfit of the trip!! Christian Loubiton recently came out with the "Un Bout" pump which utilizes PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride, a plastic commonly used in stripper heels) in by far the classiest way possible! I love how delicate they have looked on celebrities but obviously could never afford $1,300 heels. I had seen someone post that the site "Fancy Steps" had affordable copies of the heel and I instantly ordered them! I was skeptical, since knock offs generally are horrible quality, but these are amazing!! They look exactly like the Loubitons and are SO comfortable. I tried to keep the loud look subtle in black with faux leather tights, black peplum top and spiked cuff. I generally try not to over-wear dramatic outfits too much, but I can't wait to wear this outfit again!

So glad that ZL is back on! Lail informed me of the grand return :) Where's the bag from? Love your sexiness, as usual.

Love you Zehrama!! the bag is an Alexander Wang Copy from Forever!! Alma found a magazine article that actually features the bag saying how it looks so much like the original!
