Haven't done this in a while...

Hello stranger! I know I have been MIA, this blogging thing takes inspiration, which I have not had much of lately BUT i have had a good few cosmetic encounters which I def have to share!

First off, i always have heard raved reviews about Bare Escentuals skin makeup, and ironically enough my powder compact hit the ground at work and broke so i was in the market to pick some up. I went to natick collections w/ almzz and met up w/ my favorite t-squared (taimur and tanya) and we did a case study for "zahra's lipstick" at bare escentuals, where i tested and purchased a starter kit with the mineral makeup. All of their skin makeup is powdered minerals and you have to ensure that you swirl the makeup on your face in circular motion to heat the makeup so it goes from powder to a more matte finish. the sales woman described the makeup to provide a flawless photo finish that actually helps your skin. at first i was skeptical, but i bought it because for $60 you get three brushes and four powders... it was hard to use, and i definitely have to do it before i leave the house in the morning because it is too messy for the train BUT with time i have become better and i have seen a change in my skin within a week of usage--RAD! it also is very long lasting on the face, doesnt wear... loves it! I would def recommend it to anyone. BEST PART: as an additional gift they included "Bread Pudding" lipstick in the starter kit! the lipstick has been made with minerals as well, and it feels great, very moisturizing and a new dark color, which is great for the winter!!

(instead of the primer i got a lipstick)

One thing i've been looking for is a colored mascara, but i felt like the traditional blue might be a little to funky for myself--so i decided to pick up "Plum Bad Gal Lash" by Benefit. When i tried it on at sephora (on my lower lid lashes) i loved it, but since then I have been having a hard time warming up to it, its hard to see, and since the brush is so big it gets on my lids, and the red tint in the plum color makes my lower lids a little bloody looking hahaha I am going to try it a few more times and then make the decision as to whether i will return it or not--ill keep you guys posted!! has anyone used a color mascara that they like??

Work has been great (thank God!), i get along with everyone SO well... my manager did move into the office directly in front of my cube yesterday though, which really sucks because i think i talk 25% of the time at work... i made him a pink sign for his door and he told me i was fired.. so lets so what happens hahaha

till then, et kys from me to you:-*

HiLove,
I absolutely love the fact YOU'RE BACK!! So, i've tried bare minerals before and funny enough, with my extremely sensitive skin, I broke out insanely.. now I'm back to my MAC studiofix, which is uncomparable in regards to both coverage and longevity. ANDDD to add to your mascara comment, I LOVE BADGIRL from benefit.. it makes my lashes look ultra-fake.. what more can a girl ask for?

keep going with the posts. i'm loving them.
