Labor Day in Toronto: Day 1

Hey guys! Per usual, here is my once-a-quarter blog post(s). Life has been good, the summer flew by! So many fun adventures, namely Waf's wedding and a few trips here and there. Summer trip lesson, Miami is NOT as glamorous as it seems! Every beach I went to, I found Snickers wrappers in the water, every time I stepped into the water, I was like, "again!?!?" There must have been some Snickers convention that happened right before I got there.

Anyway, Summer travels were wrapped up with a Labor Day Weekend trip to Toronto with my sister Amna to visit my sister and brother in law, Alma and Turab. I think vacation inspires me to blog, just because I get to wear things that I can't find reason to wear in Boston (that probably means I need to move). A few of you have been nice enough to tell me you like my clothes, so this trip Alma, Amna and Turab helped me take some "style blog" type pictures that I wanted to share with you all! Hopefully give you all some outfit ideas! I'm going to break out my posts by days and what I wore, Friday night through Monday afternoon, enjoy! And if you don't enjoy, let me know, because that could be potentially embarrassing.

The two trends that I am currently obsessed with are chunky necklaces and sock buns, so i thought, why not get regal and combine the two?! If you haven't yet caught on to the sock bun trend, go out quick and buy a "chignon" or not as nicely described as a "hair donut" (claires sells them! http://www.claires.com/store/goods/Tweens/cat1170028/Dance-Teams/p26211/Large-Hair-Doughnut/) which will help you create this hairstyle! I am loving the look with my straight bangs, but I also love how it looks when hair is either completely hairsprayed sleek, or in a messy pulled back bun. I purchased the necklace from H&M, and have noticed they generally keep atleast one type of chunky gold necklace in stock. Lastly my shirt and purse are both from Forever 21!
