My First Vlog!?!

Haha, not exactly! Last week my good friend sultan recommended I get gmail's new video chat feature--it was only after i installed it did he tell me he would not be video chatting with me! thanks bud! So for a good week, I had that creepy video camera logo over my chat name, and although i wasnt video chatting with anyone, all my gmail friends prob thought i was. and probably doing something creepy at the same time.

then i saw it, "Zehra R Asghar" my childhood bestfriend and close confidante sign on to gmail with a creepy video camera logo as well. Zehra and I grew up together and when she was about 12 years old she moved to Wisconcin, then moved to Virginia, Toronto, India (only for a year!) and then back to VA. It's not always easy keeping up for either of us, so this was a God sent! Although I was not prepared (aka no makeup) the conversation was amazing! the quality was great, and it got me to thinking... what will OUR kids be doing to stay in touch when theyre our age!?!

Oh hey! i forgot to mention!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING READERS AND FRIENDS! Today Alma and I have been in charge of desserts--we made 2 pumpkin cheesecakes, 18 cupcakes, and chocolate mousse graham cracker thing inspired by taimur and tanyas sister Sonya! did i mention all these desserts are just for the 6 of us? ...yeah. (i will post pics this weekend!) We are eating at 2 p.m....and my mom got alcohol removed wine--I don't know when we wanted to become American, but it seems as though were trying.

so i do have a lip comment! i purchased a new lip color "freckletone", it is from the emmanuel ungaro line, but also sold in the regular mac line. its a 'lustre' color, so it has a bit of a shiny effect, not as strong, sort of like a lipgloss lipstick. I love the color because it is sort of a coral nude (you know how i love those nudes!)


Lastly--work. Work is going well, but day before yesterday my manager sent out an email basically saying "lets get in on wednesday, get our work done, and get the hell out of here (in honor of tday)", also my company had an early release of 3 pm yesterday--so I am rushing to just get my stuff done and out, when i go to say bye to my manager at 2:30, hes like, "um you cant leave" then other people say theyre going and he gives them a flat out no saying too many people have left from his group. So, embarrased, already wearing my uggs (which another manager had commented on) I go back to my desk send him a message and say "hey i'm sorry about that--i was under the impression we were supposed to come in, get our work done and leave...but now I know for next time" and he responded saying he realizes his email was "vague" and that its his mistake. WELL MANAGER, that doesnt change the fact that you embarrassed me in front of my coworkers. On the plus side though, I'm becoming more and more adapted, so it gets better and better to go to (I am sure the downward spiral will hit soon haha)..

Anyway guys, I might hit the tredmill before I stuff my face--I hope you all have a safe and yummy thanksgiving!!!
