Calling All Buxom Babes!

Hello friendsss--

Did you all enjoy "fall-ing" back an hour today?? I did, i keep on feeling like i find an extra hour here and there... i feel like every sunday though, i end up trying on all my clothes before i take a shower, which forces me to clean out my closet, and rehang all my clothes, which takes FOREVER.

okay lip time--there has been a product i am really excited about by bare escentuals--"Buxom Lips".

now guys, i love the idea of lip plumping, but i am a skeptic when it comes to these "botox in a tube" products... ive seen mostly all of them do this tingly thing to your lips, so you are POSITIVE that your lips look bigger, your brain is telling you, WOW my lips are huge! when really ladies, NO ONE IS NOTICING! and on top of it-- those types of products are expensive!! lip venom is my biggest complaint yet, and yes i can attest, that victorias secrets lip plumper is pretty good, but for $30 a pop you might as well invest in a $13 lip liner!

Buxom Lips changed my conservative perspective though, i actually notice an upturn of my upper lip, and i do have others that agree, and for a rather large sized gloss for only $18 i have to say this product has won my heart so far-- the color i have is on the darker side, and its called "Dolly", its good to wear on a cold day when i am just rocking out some black eyeliner and bronzer. I want to purchase a lighter color and see if i like it just as much... as for "Dolly" take a look:

Now, I have to start a mac corner... i went to mac on newbury to pick up "pure rose" from the ungaro line, which was unfortunately sold out. i was able, though, to purchase "revealing" (the lipgloss worn by sophia bush in my previous post) and i love it! my only qualm is that the bottle is rather small..

anyway, i was inspired by waf and naf to purchase one of the limited edition christmas pallets--the one i got was the "smokey eye" pallet (no. 6)... i loveeee it, not only have i been receiving compliments on my eyemakeup, but one of my ukrainian friends at work asked me to do her makeup because she was going out with her husband friday night! it has exactly what you need if you want to do a daytime smokey or a night time!

now for the lip color (outside of my realm)-- "ravishing" from the new mac lipcolor line called "cremesheen", and it is exactly how the name describes it: creamy and shiny. the color caught my attention because it reminds me of one of my favorite blushes.. its a corally pink color-- take a look:

now here is my only concern, although it looks like a rather tame color in pictures, its actually insanely bright, and it doesnt seem to match any of the makeup ive tried with it so far... im considering doing just mascara, light cheeks, and this color... what do YOU guys think??? other makeup blogs say to try dark green eyeshadow, which i actually have a green eyeshadow i have yet to use--but i want to be able to rock this out at work-- do you guys think thats impossible? let me know!

oh and i'll make sure to put up a picture of my newly decorated desk next time:)

till then, un bacio from me to you:-*

already tried brown smokey eye-- no good, keep in mind this is very bright.. i did consider a cream colored eyeshadow with a light brown crease in the banana of the eye, that may work!
